Top 16 Washington Nationals Vines for June 2014

May was a tough month for the Washington Nationals, both on the field and in the Vine world. June was much more fruitful, which you can see in month’s clips below. There was no shortage of defense for the team, and the infielders (and former infielders) really shined with the leather.

Jayson Werth Stop Steal Gloriousness Obviously the highlight of this month’s Vines, Werth boggles the mind with this newest take on his patented stop slide.

Ian Desmond’s Glove, Man Desmond was really impressive this month, as he continues his trend of having a rough April and then locking down the defense for the rest of the season.

Ryan Zimmerman: Left Fielder Zimmerman may not see much more time in left field with Bryce Harper returning today, but he’s earned his keep out there with some pretty nice plays, despite a fairly non-existent arm.

Spanning What else can we say about Denard Span? He just keeps making plays that he shouldn’t.

Danny Espinosa’s Glove Flips His bat may not be there from the left side of the plate, but Espinosa’s glove continues to dazzle at second base.

Pitching Gems Stephen Strasburg and Tyler Clippard show some fun pitches while Ross Detwiler flashes the leather to steal a single.

Other Fun Stuff Clark Kent makes an appearance.
